This was not merely a routine meeting between partners, but another instance of alignment and enhancement between the two "air envoys" regarding trade connectivity between China and Africa and the Middle East, built upon a foundation of long-term, close collaboration.

During the exchange, both sides reviewed the cooperative achievements of the past year, engaged in practical and in-depth discussions on how to further synergize resources and optimize flight connections, and positively acknowledged CHOICE's professional capabilities demonstrated in  transportation services.

As Africa's leading airline in terms of passenger traffic, route network, and fleet size, Ethiopian Airlines has established cargo routes in 11 key Chinese cities including Guangzhou, Zhengzhou, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Chengdu, and Urumqi. With a global network covering over 140 destinations, it transports nearly one million tons of cargo annually, seamlessly linking the trade arteries between China and markets in Africa, the Middle East, and Europe.

Leveraging Ethiopian Airlines' stable and dense trunk air network, CHOICE AIR, one of its long-term core cargo partners, has established over 10 DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) dedicated routes covering key African and Middle Eastern markets such as Nigeria 、Kenya、UAE and Saudi Arabia. These routes efficiently deliver diverse categories of goods, including electronic products, mechanical equipment, and e-commerce shipments, to markets in Africa and the Middle East.

The discussions this time focused more on specific plans for future cooperation. Both parties explored topics such as further optimizing capacity management based on existing routes, enhancing transportation solutions for specific cargo categories, and expanding into more routes. CHOICE Air shared its latest progress in establishing local companies in Africa, along with local customs clearance, warehousing, and distribution networks. These ground service capabilities effectively complement Ethiopian Airlines' trunk air network.

Moving forward, CHOICE Air will continue to maintain close strategic alignment with Ethiopian Airlines. Through more efficient information exchange and process coordination, the partners aim to jointly build a more resilient and competitive air logistics corridor between China and Africa/the Middle East, providing trade customers with safer, more efficient, and more professional logistics solutions.
